'Mini Ballet' is a table lamp made of concrete and birch veneer.
The structure represents a dialogue between the twisted wooden part and the massive concrete disk base.
The design is inspired by the twisted movements of a dancing pair. The ballerina twists and the male dancer supports her ethereal movements. This is expressed by the lightness of veneer supported and contrasted by the massive concrete stone support.
Concrete is a material with a strong ‘personality’. Its texture represents the process of production, which in every case might be slightly different. Every item has surface air bubbles and partial imperfections. This is though the value and uniqueness of every casted concrete product.
Birch veneer is a delicate material that is used as a 3D sculpture item.
Every one piece produced is handmade and individually taken care of. Caution is recommended when handling the item.
